  • Holidays~



    Today my cousins came over and played with Mimi~ haha she looks happy here, but actually she was growling afraid we would steal her ball... well most of the time

    um~ and since it's the holidays, i made a locket~ like the one from the illusionist.  it's an oval, then if you twist in half it becomes a heart, and if you twist the top it opens the heart~ ^^  except i hadn't finished it yet, so it was still missing the inside bit~

    um~ hehe happy birthday bryoni, yvonne and myra!~!!  hopefully it'll be a great day tomorrow!~!!

  • Lucky today's class begins at 12, my mother came in just as I woke up and told me she couldn't drive me!!  But walking to the station is nice too~  The cherry blossoms are blooming now and I just noticed them today.  Aren't they pretty? ^^




    Instead i got picked up, in the evening.  Can you see the crescent moon?




    haha ^^; it look's more like just a star, it's so tiny in the photo.

  • Fishy Fin~gs

    yay!~ hehe I just finished my accounting homework X) 

    The weekend was a fairly normal, uneventful maybe even boring... but I digress.

    FISH AT RESTAURANTS

    On saturday I stayed home most of the day but went out for dinner with a family friend.  And while eating uncle G was talking about fish.  haha ^^ you know how you go to chinese restaurants and order a live fish from the tank? 


    At some shady places they would exchange the live one they show you with one that died earlier that day. (it's true! his nephew works at one of those places!!)

    So how do you tell that the fish on your table is what you are paying for? *hintthetitlehint* :)

    The answer is to look at its... FINS! hehe~ well as you can see above the fins of the freshly caught fish are all contracted.  This is due to the pain it went through before it died :( Especially when it was still struggling as the cook sliced its stomach open, ripped out its intestines before throwing it int the wok to steam.  aiya... i feel so sorry for the fish TT.,TT
    On the other hand those that died rather peacefully and less painful, their muscles were relaxed hence their fins stick up on your plate!  How do store owners cover this up?  They give you extra shallot & ginger to keep the fin down, letting you think you got lucky getting extra topping...  Or like the last image, they just chop it up into little pieces before serving it to you...

    So next time you go eat out and order a fish that just doesn't taste all that right, you know what to say to the manager.  

    "My fish ain't fresh.  Look, even its fins are sticking out!"

    haha ^^ hopefully he/she won't give you a funny look and think you're insane!!

    [I haven't really look further into this, so please don't take everything too seriously!]

    Today I just had work at Parramatta as well, nothing interesting happened.  Usually now and again something comes up, that at the moment for me was very awkward.  But in the end my whole family is laughting at me! >=6

    O well, it's more funny to laught at something, than for it to actually happen to you.

  • A day off~

    This morning, had lunch at Ichiban with mon chan, mi chan and susie~ 
    For once we were all on time!~ hehe ^______^

    Today we only visited the dvd shop where mi chan had to exchange a disk, then galaxy world.
    ~T_T~ the one at george st took away all the pool tables for sticky photo machines!
    So we've resorted to playing basketball and shooting animals at market city.  Poor bears~ they got shot in the bum!



    As promised I bought cake for mum, who threaten not to drive me to uni if I didn't~ =P
    Aiya~ I better learn how to drive soon, before my L's license expires in January.
    Mon chan had class at 2 so we all went our separate ways~

    The train ride back was quite uneventful~ There was no one in my carriage until a guy my age came in and started vomiting... Everything was quiet and all you can hear was the sound of his vomit hitting the floor >___<;;
          


    Kathy came over briefly today~ haha if you are reading this harlo marn larm!~!! ^^ I hope you and cherryline will be fine in your accounting exam tomorrow!
